“The K.A.Wing Group are an electrical contracting company working in the commercial and industrial areas of the electrical industry as well as internationally in the world of metal recycling. With such a diverse business, central data storage and reliable communications are essential to success. This has been achieved by working closely with P-A-S.

During our time working with P-A-S we have introduced a central server and local area network, linking the company together with the provision of email, backed up central storage and internet access. A project we have successfully completed has been to provide remote access to email and server files utilizing a VPN (virtual private network) connection. This allows travelling staff to connect to the office server by means of a laptop computer or even handheld device from any location in the world. The VPN connection to the office server is made across the internet, this means that providing that the user has access to the internet, the connection can be established.

The main advantage of this is that the company does not have to stand the costs of overseas call charges associated with traditional dial-up connections. P-A-S have worked with us, interpreting our requirements and have turned them into a reliable, costs effective remote access solution.”
